At last back onto the flames of war. This time beautiful stugs from Peter pig,the foliage is moulded on and i think works so well, always worth checking out peter pig before anyone else for 15mm stuff.
Also a unit of 21cm NW42 rocket launchers after listening to WWPD podcast from show one they have been banging on about them so it seems rude not to.

Fantastic. Like the hedge bits, nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThose tubes have hit many of my troops at the WWPD war room ... very effective for the point cost.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS,The Hedges are some thin off cuts from a door mat i used for wheat fields, just dipped them in PVA and then in to some flock.

Joe,i hear that,so cheap points wise.I'll test them soon in a game on the 20th.Nice to hear from you again, you all done with the WWPD podcasts?

Nah ... life had me pretty busy. I believe my seat in the war room has me scheduled for Episode 24 .... I am getting back into the groove now that things have slowed down.
ReplyDeleteWWell, (now I've worked out what WWPD means)nice stuff, but I prefer Skytrex overall. Peter Pig do some very useful stuff and their figures are my preferred line, some of their armour is askew on scale etc. Still, good job on the models. Are you intent on fielding all the Normandy panzer corps or just a small selection? ;O)
ReplyDeleteGaz
Look forward to it joe,i'll let you know if steve was right after the game.

Gaz,i like skytrex as well castings are a bit flashy. It must be a rare thing that so many makers calling their products 15mm actual match.
ReplyDeleteThe plan is to field the german army of WW2....all of it:-)))))))
