The next unit i'll be painting is the 11th,without cuirass, perry metals this time, here's a photo of the amount of flash i had to clean off the figures alone, this is without the horses which had flashing joining all of their legs.the figures also had double mould lines and mould step lines.
Sort it out Perrys.

Goodness that is a LOT of flash! Haven't bought any of the metal Perries for a while now and had no idea it had gotten this bad.
ReplyDeleteThankfully their plastics are free of that sort of casting deficiencies.
cheers theo, perry's seem to be getting worse, you stick to you darkest africa.
DeleteWill do mate! lol
Deletep.s. the lacework on that trumpeteer is stupendous. I keep going back to that pic.
Fantastic cuirassiers Lee.

ReplyDeleteshould have two lots of them for him so ear muffs on stand by
DeleteHe'll probably be imagining what each horse might be saying to each other.
ReplyDeleteThat's a hell of a lot of stuff mate. I got some AWI's from them a few weeks ago with hardly any. They did go through a very rough patch - think the cuirassiers are old stock that doesn't sell much?
ReplyDeleteHowever, nice paint job as usual. :O)
