Picked this up Saturday from http://www.facebook.com/TabletopNation . Which has just set up near me,great venue and handy for a game.
The Sherman is from warlord and I'm going to use it for my Canadian company when we play disposable heroes rule set. Markings are hand painted (as i didn't have the decals) and the commander is a British officer from Northstar ww2 range cut in half. Really enjoyed painting this up and made a change from 15mm tanks.

Bit more terrian
Celotex board |
Carved to shape with an old kitchen knife |
PVA glue and and sharps sand. |
Rocky area made with vertical cuts with a knife, more of a chopping motion. |
base colour,i use fence and decking paint,5L for £20. |
Basecoat and cream mixed for first highlight. |
More cream added to the basecoat and greys added to rocky area. |
mix of three static grass. |
A friend of mine (mark,http://www.mbdecorating.co.uk/index.html) saved some a couple of off cuts of celotex insulation boards from a skip. These off cuts were ideal for a ridge line that we could use not only in our Guildford court house game but other games.
